Overview
A healthcare-payments platform for clinicians, based in Manaus, Brazil. I founded it and built it end to end; it processed R$5M+ in transactions in its first year.
What I built
- 01Built the platform in Node.js + TypeScript, with payment integrations and high availability for clinicians.
- 02Designed the MySQL/MariaDB data layer (modeling and query plans) and used Redis for caching, sessions and processing queues.
- 03Ran the services in Docker on AWS (Lambda, SQS, ECS) for fault isolation and easier scaling.
- 04Brought AI-assisted development (Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT) into the workflow early, with automated tests as guardrails on generated code.
